| Townhouse and converted villa, Highbury | Costs / Fees
Fees are negotiated in accordance with industry norms and tailored to the specific requirements of a project in terms of size, complexity, building type and whether the works are new-build or refurbishment/extension. The range of fee options includes a percentage of the construction cost, a 'lump sum' and time charges. The most suitable of these will depend upon the nature of the services to be provided. For example, time charge fees might be most appropriate where the final scope of the service is yet to be determined. 'Lump sum' fees might be most appropriate where the scope of the service is known. Fees are agreed prior to commencement of the work and payments are made in accordance with either agreed work stage 'milestones' or a monthly billing schedule. Expenses and disbursements incurred are charged at cost. We are able to provide a budget estimate for fees, expenses and disbursements for each stage of the project. |
