The practice principal, Iain Miller, is a chartered architect who graduated in 1980 from the highly regarded Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow (run jointly by Glasgow University and Glasgow School of Art). Apart from 2 years working in Hong Kong, he has spent all of his career working in London and the South East of England.

He has been involved in some of the largest and most prestigious projects constructed in the South East during this period including the Glaxo pharmaceuticals research campus in Stevenage (construction cost £500 million), the Canary Riverside mixed use project at Canary Wharf (construction cost £145 million) and the 40 Grosvenor Place office of the future project in London (construction cost £45 million) which won the British Council for Offices Building of the Year Award in 2001.  At the other end of the scale, he has been involved in small scale commercial and residential projects as well as extensions, conversions, refurbishments and interiors.

After working at director level in large scale architectural practice in London, Iain established Miller Architects in 2005 to deliver the benefits of 25 years in practice in a more personal way.

Iain brings his design skills, technical and management experience, enthusiasm and reliability to bear on all the projects in which he is involved.
